The calendar says it's May 31st, but the cool, wet, windy weather could easily pass for the end of April. This evening I finally finished my April and May pieces. When I'm done posting them this evening I'll be all caught up. Maybe the weather will catch up too and we'll get a few days in a row of decent weather!
The challenge fabric for this piece is in the pieced sections that run at angles throughout the piece. I've incorporated silk throughout the piece. The circles are hand dyed organza fused with Misty Fuse.
This piece has lots of movement. What did you dye the organza with? I love kinetic pieces. They can be so simple and yet keep your eyes and brain totally engaged.
ReplyDeleteI purchased the hand dyed organza from Wendy Richardson from Quilt Tapestry Studio.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! For some reason it makes me think of candy. Good movement and an attractive color scheme.
