The Challenge is to create one piece of art each month for one year. Each piece of art must measure 20" x 11" and can be oriented vertically or horizontally, and must contain a piece of the challenge fabric. Post a picture when you've finished each piece & blog about it. Tell how you used the challenge fabric (in case it isn't obvious).

August Challenge at last
Finally done with August -- just in time to be late with September. :)
Structures 8: Aerie
Fused onto Timtex, some paint, the "quatrefoils" in the big arch are painted wood. Challenge fabric is the large arch.
You have to tell me how you get yours cuts so smooth and even. It is wonderful to the the arches glide up and down. I like the simple hand sticting that accent the large arches. You have to love E60000 I have been using it alot everything stays in its place. Some time we will have to see all the pieces in person to enjoy all our works beauty.
This is beautiful. What kind of wood did you use and how did you attach it to your timtex?
ReplyDeleteThanks. The wood are die-cuts that I got from ArtChix Studios -- something like masonite only very light. I attached the woodcuts with E6000 adhesive.
